Called for by the youth of the planet, the Global Climate strikes mobilized over 6.6 million people worldwide calling upon leaders to declare a climate emergency NOW. Activists in San Francisco shut down the “Wall Street of the West” and painted two blocks of stunning murals on the street. As the Amazon rainforest burns in Brazil, we stand in solidarity with indigenous peoples of the Amazon. The Seastars performed on a pedal powered stage in front of the Brazilian Consulate.

REGEN 18 :: HOW TO REGENERATE EARTH AND REVERSE CLIMATE CHANGE
May 2, 2018 @ 7:30pm at Victoria Theater
Special Regen 18 Event with author/filmmaker Josh Tickell and special guest performance from the SeaStars
Join Sundance Award-Winning, Oscar Shortlisted, NY Times Critics’ Pick author/filmmaker, Josh Tickell for an eye-opening, heart-palpitating presentation that reveals the true hidden story of what is happening to Earth’s climate and how to fix and reverse some of the largest trends we are experiencing today. Drawing from his book and upcoming film, Kiss the Ground, Tickell will unravel a powerful story with hope, tools and life-changing takeaways.
The evening will also include a performance by The Seastars a band dedicated to collective engagement in service of a regenerative future that re-frames paradigms — from scarcity to abundance, from you-OR-me to WE, from reductionist to holistic, from competitive to cooperative, and from focusing on problems to working towards potential. They weave five-part vocal harmonies to remind us of the harmony of humans and nature, and the interdependence that fuels life.
We hope you and your guests will join us for this special evening.
